   EXPERIMENTATION & TRANSLATIONS

The photographs of the oil paintings shown here where taken in my art studio.

Oil painting is a fairly new medium for me.  I have spent the last 4 years experimenting with the media.  Trying out different painting styles and discovering how to make, "things happen". 

Over the years I have become so comfortable with colored pencils, I don't really have to think about how to create the effect I want.  

This painting endeavor, however,.... offers up new challenges each time I pick up the brush.
