MANDALA WORKSHOPS for groups of two or more.

Engage yourself in the process of using art making as a vehicle for self discovery and personal growth.  The workshops explore the meanings of ancient symbols used cross culturally by the sacred traditions of  the  world.  No art training is needed to gain personal insights  into your own world of symbols. ART is the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE.  Over the millennium of symbol making, humans have become genetically programed to intuit  the meanings of shapes and colors.  We are all intrinsically connected through  our shared collective unconscious. Provide yourself an opportunity to participate in the symbol making process and experience a  deeper sense of integration and  empowerment.   Workshop programs are culturally specific and include the following:

• MANDALA / ANALYTICAL CROSS CULTURAL OVERVIEW : 
• The message of the mandala / sacred circle.
  
•  View mandalas  from around the world. Explore the research of Swiss psychologist, Carl Jung and American Mandala Researcher, Joan Kellogg. Experience two techniques; classical and personal .  and how to use them in the creation  of your own mandalas.
• KANDINSKY and SPONTANEOUS IMAGERY :
  
• Gain insight into  stages of personal growth and change
  
•  as they are depicted by the father of abstract painting Wassily Kandinsky.  Learn how his  artwork  relates to the research of Mandala expert Joan Kellogg.  Create your own mandala series .  Learn how these "active meditations" connect to you own inner guidance.   Learn how to decipher symbolic messages for your current life situations
